    Hi PB,
Posting some comments from the other thread. 18021401

Groundrush - NST/TAM. Has only briefly crossed my radar so just off the cuff remarks and a bit of research on the fly.

A bidding war for Groundrush by companies of the calibre of NST and MLX strongly suggests this is a very good asset.

Almost certain to be visible gold in fresh rock core at these grades.

Table 1 in the link you gave shows the significant intercepts. At face value there is a lot of gold but the majority of +50 g/t Au results are less than 1m in thickness and commonly separated from other intercepts by 5m or more.

    For example: NGRCD00002
    from 242.0 0.7m at 27.5 g/t Au
    then from 303.4 0.3m @ 486 g/t Au
    then from 311.o 12.7m @ 3.8 g/t Au
    then from 331.3 3.8m @ 2.8 g/t Au

    This general pattern for +50g/t Au results is repeated in holes 37, 40, 56, 67, 77, 80, 88, 98 and 112 from the quick scan I made.

These gaps can be very significant so it is a pity there are no sectional views in that announcement. Without such detailed information it is virtually impossible to make any correlations (some of which are IMO likely to exist - you do not drill 118 holes on a whim but a solid plan).

Personally I try to be very careful when +100 g/t assays are announced. They tend to attract the eye and need to be taken in an overall context. This announcement is very open and gives the spatial relationship of the significant assays in the holes.

    A couple of questions
Are the high grade results related to specific veins/structures? Jundee 1000+- g/t shoots!

What is the bulk mining potential - take everything and get a lower economic grade.

I just took a quick look at the NST ASX ANN's for the Central Tanami Project.

Easy to see why there was a bidding "war".

High grade narrow gold intercepts appear to be quite common (Ann 20/1/16 has a number of high grade narrow intersection) so the recent Ann is no exception.

P15 of a May 16 presentation shows shallow to moderate dipping (20-60? degree) cross cutting vein/fracture ?sets with high grade gold. Perhaps a different generation to the main steeper ore zones.

P15 also tweaked my interest by showing the main host lithology is a quartz dolerite. They may not be the same but WA examples of differentiated dolerite hosted gold orebodies are numerous ( e.g. Mt Charlotte, Junction, Argo, etc). I worked at Argo (1.5? Moz) logging core and the vein, lode complexity was very challenging but ultimately profitable.

Thanks PB for bringing NST-TAM to my attention.
