Well Pharma, I didn't go but a major point for me was that 85% of the votes supported Maria's performance bonus. That is roughly less than half of the shares on issue.
It doesn't sit well with me that a CEO (any CEO!) who is on a generous salary package - also gets a performance bonus prior to the business reaching both profitability and a positive cash flow from operations.
To me, if a business is being supported by long standing shareholders who are constantly in the red, then the management should "share some of that red".
