re: Ann: Cellestis Limited Announces Improved... As I understand it the SOA fails if more than 50 % in number shareholders reject it. While this looks unlikely, surely its not that impossible. I wonder if the hedge funds try to cover this possibility by buying in small holdings. Does anyone know? They have so much at stake.
Just imagine if all the small shareholders, roused by the csag campaign but defying its final conclusion to vote yes, voted no, and large ones (among whom are the main csagers) voted yes! Surely, in this scenario the SOA would fail, unless the large shareholders had multiple voting parcels.
Its a shame the voting isn't transparent, not least because it would help one feel confident in the process.
