Guys whats with all the negative Gheko speculation stuff? Do you even know about Gheko? have you checked them out? what they actually do and their different departments. and their financial position? Or Kobus Smit.
Kobus Smit is getting old (late seventies) and is leaving the minning business from what i hear hes getting rid of both Gheko and his bigger Genet mining in South Africa and will now just run his Glam resorts company.
He still owns all his shares in CLA.
I belive Both companies are up for sale. Gheko are having trouble with their two mines in another department they're loosing money and will soon go under IMO. Most departments are being closed down or rationalised as far as I can see so the whole thing can be sold off. Gheko drilling department was making money becuase CLA was predominatly funding it. But idf we stop drilling that will soon be in a hole too.
IMO Theres essentially three good guys in Gheko management with all the know how and connections -the two Van Wick brothers and the Elmies (or whatever) the German geo and they jumping ship and now with us or NRE next door. We've got the best of it already. Let it go to a buyer.
And don't all be so negative - think on the positive side- whose buying their position??. That's the big question. That's going to be the next group coming in to help move CLA forward IMO. Thats the cheapest entry block around for any big players wanting to get a decent foothold in CLA.
CLA still have massive resource and at the current rate of spending years of cash - there are still many people interested in it. Nothing much has changed fundamentally expect Co price has crapped the bed big time- and also CLA are not burning cash so fast now.
So CLA now have time to
1. wait for the co market to recover and get going again. (if you dont believe that then maybe sell your CLA shares)
3. Sell or partially sell the company.
2. or more likely now Arrange a technical development deal with a third party with more experience in cobalt than BB and our current directors- they can pay for a farm in deal and save CLA blowing all their cash. Deals ripe for that right now. IMO I think with more experienced cobalt players working this deal this project will look much more viable than its currently been made to look.. I think it's not been shown in its most efficient light yet as BB (god bless him for all his good work) is an exploration geo not an experienced cobalt miner. This is not a diss on BB - its a fact. The guy has done a great job so far but IMO has reached the extent of his Cobalt mine development expertise -Hes good at finding deals and putting deals in a company and developing them - he's also the first to admit that he's not the man to take this on to mining or even PFS- we really need a bigger group for that. That's also whats going on right now.
4. Or we can buy another sexy new related project -BB's still good at that.
Look around at the other cobalt companies - deals are still going on down here. Cobalt demand is still rising. EV cars still selling faster than forecast. still no substitute for cobalt. Don't forget why we invested and didn't sell out yet guys. This company CLA is far from dead just because the share price is currently low. But There are deals afoot. Of course this current co price environment doesn't help in getting them done. I can't say more or ill be modded.
So my advice is don't be so negative just cos the share price is down. The market is not always right. how many of you have sat in these juniors that have crapped out on you only for them go on a tear northwards when you least expect it or even understand it! Its happened to me a few times - and comod prices are cyclical recover and so do share prices.
Thers riskj here of course - always has been - but theres also potential reward under them thar dessert hills in ole Nambia.
lets face it this company is priced almost like a shell right now - with a huge stonking asset in it for free.
