Perhaps this announcement explains why BNO could not break above 60c level......
Lets hope Private Portfolio partners are not an ongoing seller - because they still have a LOT of stock to shift if they are.
My guess is that a few of their larger private clients have departed and they had to offload stock to permit the payout.
Pretty hopeless that they did not talk to the company - and/or the company did not help them bed the stock down in safe hands!
But if they were selling because of a series of unrelated private client account departures, it makes more sense and it also would explain why they would not ask BNO for assistance.
Still curious to know when we are going to get an outcome on oncology asset sale.
It seems that management have the Board over a barrel.
Management do NOT appear to be given any deadlines.
Can a company really operate like this?
Management are supposed to be accountable to the Board.
It is hardly appropriate for the Board to accept management performance on a "best endeavours" basis........
we will just keep trying to offload the assets and keep talking up expectations - but never actually get a deal.
A deal will tell us the ultimate truth about these assets.
I wonder how much longer we have to wait for an answer.
And I wonder if we are going to be pleasantly surprised - or disappointed...........
