My anticapitalist view is that lawyers exist to defend power and privilege that wouldn't exist in a free society. This is the unbiased view, I am correct and everyone else "left" or "right" is wrong.

They aren't a tool for change, so I agree I don't think there should be government funding for legal representation.

If Johnson and Johnson pays a fine for mesh, some money for lawyers, a little for victims, pretty much business as usual - a little less profit this year.

The victims will live with a lifetime of suffering, corporations are all about bludging from society in ways like this and SHJ won't change that. More regulations from government beuracrats won't change that.

The beuracrat idle rich executive are the biggest bludgers, the governance old boys club the biggest union. They are largely indistinguishable from government beuracrats.

It's fraud season in the financial markets today but hopefully not at SHJ, anyway markets are perfectly efficient
