We are about to have our first disagreement.
I don't mean dividends from a cashflow or an E that isn't there.
I mean dividends that are comfortably buffered by E.
Just look at all the shareholder gains from the mining boom NOT!!!!!
No dividends to speak of. The money was re-invested and now any long term BHP RIO holders are sitting on expansions of equipment and purchases of companies that just got write downs.
Dividends are good things.
