    It might not mean much if it is just Macquarie selling to some other bank who want to get their clients into WAF. Given how illiquid WAF is I don’t think anyone buying it is doing it on a hope of trading out of it for a few percent. $16M is pretty decent money.

    Block trades are frequently used by institional investors or by companies to acquire a stake. Goldfields for example has done many block trades in the last year in CDV because buying on market is difficult without boosting the share price. This would appear a pretty good time for interested parties in an eventual full takeover to get set and perhaps build a blocking stake (would need over 10%).
