Hi,
You guys make it sound as if takeover is only upto SBM and is there for the taking. Please remember that 3 groups out of 20 i.e. management (14.4) Hampton (18.2) and Ariki (9.5) between them control approx 42% of the company. Throw in a few others in top 20 and you have people controlling more than 50%. Without the concurrence of these groups, SBM wont be launching any takeover. SBM has to show these savvy investors why the takeover is in their best interest also and not only SBMs best interest. The good thing for us shareholders is that we will get top value for our shares whenevet a play is made
