Mate, you sound like the Central Norwegian Bank, for Citicorp and JP Morgan, can't become a sub holder, lend out, knowing that this announcement will absolutely murder the stock (your statement regarding $AUD and GOP? Check the rest of goldies compared to SBM), which conveniently for them, will increase their profits for shorts? Easy to say buy in low when they play it or if you're an investor, sit on it, when you arent holding. You see a drop of almost 9% during the day over the day, with 6% the two days before, when this bank became a sub to lend out, yeah, you would be pissed.
