FMR's game is extracting profits from the market, tinwins. How is this objective different to yours? I am not on FMR's side, just surprised at your sense of hurt.
You could have executed a similar strategy - bought into the rise and sold into the weakness.
Their net-net return would have been more modest than it would appear at first glance. Labour costs, finance or opportunity costs, tax and brokerage all detracted. And the course of transactions in their notice shows mis-steps and sub-optimal trades that drew a smile from me. If I were a 'professional' on their team, I'd be beet-red over them.
