how do you suggest that Pie "pump up" everything they touch...?
their newsletters which I have been reading for some time, don't do such a thing and are not that widely read. They are only monthly and cover a couple of stocks at a time.
When you aim to buy a 5% holding in a company that you think is cheap, a fund would find it hard to do that without increasing the share price. And the same with selling out, which pushes down the price.
They just do what every fund does, but in the small cap space, where it is hard to play big boy games without shifting the market.
We gain from their buying and lose from their selling.
Move on.
