Supertramp, perhaps you could ask the following questions of the Company before investing your hard-earned:

1. Your flagship DataDotDNA product is represented on your web-site as carrying a "unique laser-etched code" that will stay there for the life of the asset. Is it not true that the DataDot is actually a photographic image, similar to an old-style photo negative, with no actual etching on the dot? If that's the case, how long will the image last when exposed to sunlight or heat? How long will the image last when still in suspension in glue?

2. Your DataTrace product carries "tracers", which provide a unique code for identification under an expensive patented reader that is only available through the Company. How many unique codes do you have for DataTrace? How quickly can you produce a single new unique code? Have you used the same code as a "unique" identifier in different industry sectors? Have you created codes by adding 2 separate codes together - i.e. code 1 + code 4 = code 5? Is there a possibility these codes could separate after application and create 2 readings for code 1 and code 4 without recognising code 5 at all?
