Regarding the CR, the last one was done at 0.023c for a tiny A$500k though they offered a SPP at the same offering which secured ~$1M.
My thoughts are the upcoming CR will be at 0.01c and SPP will be offered. My observations show that Sophisticated Investor's are not that interested in CT1 and I think that's because we are in such an early stage of business development. Revenues for FY18 expected to be ~A$280,000 with a Opex spend of $2.8M, that is obviously a huge gap, and with the current revenue model it's going to take a long time for the company to break even. Direct sales of the SmartTags only provide $180ea per year, sales through their channel partners only bring in $120ea, and considering the roadmap is to leverage channel partners, then they need to sell ~20,000 tags just meet their current spending. Staff costs alone are $1.4M this FY.
I am not saying it's a bad business, I hold just under a million shares.
The selling point with CT1 is establishing an IoT footprint for the future, per the company's prospectus - the initial target is the hospitality industry but they already have a long term goal which is to be a IoT play across all verticals. They identified a current niche gap in the market for the hospitality industry and if they can build a large client portfolio and gain experience with the technology and develop associated software/hardware platforms, then its very easy for them to move into other verticals as and when opportunities arrive.
There is also the possibility of acquisition or JV with other IoT companies like Digi International (NASDAQ: DGII)
Note that their refrigeration monitoring solution is no where near as integrated as CCP's :

CCP are offering refrigeration monitoring in the most economical and practical method globally.
The CCP platform in my opinion is a work of art, full cloud connectivity allows CCP to scale up to cater new requirements very quickly, this is priceless! Also the smartag does not require recharging, the battery last for over 2 years! the consumer just turns it on, setups up their notifications preferences on the cloud platform and that's it, its so simple and easy - thus they are securing new customers very easily.
So IMO this is a long term play and yes still speculative but the potential is there for this to unfold into a 1000% gain.
