I fear that we are on the same page, but that the CDT geos are not. The map in my post is not the original from the ann (now shown below) and I admit that I lazily borrowed the image from @Boro76 (in this thread) which omitted the legend showing the spurious Hardey Formation exposure that is not shown on any GSWA mapping, and could not occur there if the other large HF exposure off tenement to the east is correct on the maps I grabbed from Geoview WA.

No denying a 1.8km Mt Roe Basalt exposure on the CDT tenure, but if it is relying on a contact with the HF the chances of a good Wits 2 hit are much diminished. If its on the underlying older Fortescue rocks, then CDT may be in the money.

Have a look also at the MAT tenement on the Bellary Dome in the south of the Pilbara basin which also has lots of HF and no basal MRB, and consequently IMO a much diminished chances of a good Wits 2 find.
