I thought they were keeping the ceto5 design as a product for niche cases - shallow inshore cases and focusing on ceto6 for commercial scale power.
I suspect the ceto6 redesign came about from lack of bouyancy, so they needed much greater volume to actuate it correctly. If the 3 actuators are the same size as the ceto5 one the pumps obviously can produce decent power. obviously we don’t know till we see them
I expect a lot dynamic analysis has been undertaken, this would reduce options for scale testing. The scale testing as they are doin now will then verify the best theoretical model. Hopefully a full scale model extrapolates in a linear (or exponential) fashion.
Lots of commercial in confidence stuff and we could all be wrong... be good to have an inside source...
