When I used to work for a hedge fund, institutional investors would have an extensive due diligence process. When it comes to tens of millions of dollars, the stakes are very high so every stone needs to be turned.
Whilst is might seem harsh the truth is that Hamish's wife actions would be assessed and weighted accordingly.
