We can only assume that the other 13 Funding options were much worse for us even though the smiling Assassin created a picture of Financiers falling over each other to take part in our operation. In the end, there were some warning signs for us but we chose to believe the rhetoric coming out of those video presentations and what I think is a strong track record for Management right up to this last hurdle.
It’s important we look forward now because I’m finding it really hard to see how this ends for us. Countering the equity component of the package, the debt component is very strong and an achievement imo. Will Sprott and co. be happy to let the share price run at some stage, reflecting true value? Or, do they continue to drive price down, accumulate and destroy the share price?
Some warning signs we didn’t heed:
1) Macquarie selling out, plus
2) The falling price/bot activity in the face of enormous value creation through the drill bit (absolutely no competition for shares over many months), plus
3) Someone had mentioned that Argonaut clients had been instructed to sell.
That second point is an ongoing problem because, even now, with obvious upside in the share price (which equates to about 1.5 yrs of profits after tax) there is still no competition for shares. Liquidity has improved for the moment but only at the 25c level and beneath, suggesting to me that this price ain’t going anywhere for now - accumulation on the downside of the current share price is still the name of the game. The other warning sign for us now is that Capex is likely to be much higher than the US$185mil (including contingencies) we had been told.
Anyway, we need you at the top of your game now Eshmun so chill out on the ranting and help us work out where this is headed from here. The damage is not too bad for me right now only out of pure luck that I didn’t discover this earlier and I’ve averaged down but big exposure and I can’t see myself letting this one go before we get to production or are taken over. POG looking good too.
