Hehe, not posting at a certain trade doesn't mean I'm not a holder...

As English is not my mother tongue I generally don't post a lot. And with the time difference of - at the moment - 8h to Sydney it doesn't make it easier. Happily l'll spend the next two months with my family in Hawaii so the time difference will be better for me

Why I invest in Australia? Hmm, difficult to answer it as I don't have a clear response. We already discussed this last year in May. I don't know if you remember: http://hotcopper.com.au/posts/15209085/single

As I explained it in my old post, Switzerland is a very small (investment) country, so I/we invest all over the world. But personally, I really like Australia as a country and the people! Many years ago I spend around 3 1/2 months in Australia. Fantastic place! That's my great connection I have to Down Under.

My first investment many year ago was SMM (Summit Recources). I paid 30c and PDN gave me arround 6 AUD in shares at the take over. This was the start for me at the ASX. Since then I'm quite happy with my other ASX investments.

I truly belive that you have many very good, but globally undiscovered, companies at the ASX.

As this is the MNQ (EPT) trade we take MNQ as an example. IMO at the Nasdaq the MC at the listing/relisting after a bigger and more expensive CR would be at 100 - 150 Mio USD and not at around 14 Mio AUD. So in the USA much expectation and fantasy is already in the share price and as a new shareholder you have to pay "too much" at the start. So you're not participating in the same way in the potential share raise like the low ASX MC companies.

That's the reason why I like the undiscovered Australian small cap pearls much more

    Cheers, Tony
