Many years ago I can recall an instance were options were close to expiry in another company and they re-issued them but holders still had an out of pocket expense to do it. Maybe Ron's reasoning behind not giving us options is to support the current value of the existing options which has backfired with them crashing anyway. Who knows if OEX are still in business in 6 months time they will likely to tap the market for more money and option holders may get their chance with some free attaching ones. There are some option holders that hold in the millions and IMO it is bad management to piss these potential investors of if they do nothing to bring them in the money or offer an alternative.
