You are correct but many PI's focus on flow rates as a rule of thumb indicator of production for a commercial well. Usually production increases to a 'plateau level' over several or many years, and then declines.

I am encouraged by the large areal extent of the field this means many wells can be drilled - maybe 100.

We should get some initial reserves upgrades and potential recovery information as time passes, however the ultimate recovery factor is always unknown because future technical developments are unknown at this time.
