Here's the follow-up/reply from Geordieaway on II re your post on 'Oil and water emulsion':
"Its even more complex as it's a multiphase emulsion. Which also changes characteristics with pressure and temperature. The reservoir and flow assurance models will have taken this into consideration.
Once the water is reduced then it becomes easier to predict and also less of a hindrance to flow, hence the requirement to have water down to less than 10%.
They are taking all the right steps. As I said this is bread butter stuff for the SLB Process Engineers."
My understanding of what's (possibly/hopefully) happening at Cambay is greatly enhanced thanks to the breadth & depth of posts from multiple fora/boards. All pieces of a larger jigsaw.
