Time will tell charl however, if the information from Oilex is correct:
"Average flowing tubing head pressure - 857 psig" and "Average liquid (oil and water) recovery rate - 229 barrels per day." and "Oilex is pleased with the well's performance at a relatively small choke"
Remember this is flowing pressure not shut in pressure, and the well has not cleaned up yet - I would say very definitely once the well is cleaned up (little or no water) a larger choke could see the fluids flow double - say 450 bopd and that would be commercial in my view, and also we should consider this is a short lateral well and could be 3 times longer.
Making a decision before the well is cleaned up - that it is, or is not commercial, does not make sense to me, especially as the limited production is already being sold. Others may disagree - but based on what information?
Time will answer the questions.
