It’s a function of cutoff grade (0.8g/t vs 0.5g/t) - increasing gold price coupled with decreasing exchange rate may result in low grade ounces economically recoverable within a larger pit shell - given the gold price is roughly $1800 AUD/Oz or each tonne of mineralised ore is worth roughly $110 AUD(1.8g/t @ 0.5g/t C/O) less AISC.
