We don't really know what Freeman got outside of his contract. The rumour is that he was pushed rather than jumped.

In his quote "seems to me that he.." he was clearly trying to pretend that he was not Freeman, but some fair minded individual sticking up for him. He then had the cheek to sermonise about people posting under the cloak on anonymity! Now Hotcopper have kicked him off the forum twice for cheating. Is this really the kind of individual that you expect to be holding a professional directorship of a public company? What does that tell you about his character, and of those around him?

I dare say he will be back soon with (yet another) handle to stick up for himself

Now who is left in GGP? Graves (Traviati's finger puppet) and Petrozelli (Traviati's brother in law).

There are spec companies battling in a difficult environment and, well, there's GGP. The fact is they have been exaggerating good news and covering up bad news all along. Personally, I am happy making investments in spec cos and supporting good management. Just not this one (and related MT concerns).
