Having re-read the announcement, there are some positive signs amongst the usual puff. I do not want to hear about any deal until it is signed, sealed and delivered. Hopefully DM learns from this ASAP!
In regards to the UK telephony company, as others have suggested I suspect it is Vodaphone based on interactions seen on LinkedIn and this site https://alertify.eu/top-10-telecom-companies-united-kingdom-uk/
Continues to be an interesting journey with plenty of twists and turns to come no doubt.
