Well, it means, at the end of the day, the risk profile of cash-poor exploration is higher than people would assume, and it also means that geophysical methods become less and less useful. Especially Sub-audio Magnetics, IP, MMR, and TEM that aim to detect sulphides in larger swathes of territory. You're as likely to detect barren sulphides as not, and have to drill all of the conductors for no reward. So it's a struggle, and yes, SFR's blazing saddles carpet-bombing approach is definitely a way of sterilising the basin.
