Do you want to leave control of the company in the hands of SNE management and hope they will eventually do something with the assets or allow the active management of COE to take control? I expect to see a more active exploration program under COE control & they are well cashed up to do it.
In any event the cash & shares offer looks OK ATM and with BPT acceptance COE looks set to succeed. If you use the cash to buy more COE shares you end up much better off than the straight out share offer of 2.8.
