what i meant was, who actually gets the dividend issued to them?
obviously, they would have to pay it back if it was issued to the shorter!
i am trying to establish the legalities under which they operate.
if i can break the code, so to speak, it may give me an edge in future transactions.
ps- i am very capable of thinking in reverse, rather than just backward thinking, which happens to be a distinct advantage in the art of Shorterism!
nonetheless, it may be prudent to err on the side of caution and use the upcoming trading event to hone my skills, rather than throwing caution to the wind, just for the fear of missing out!
