my take on today's activity is a bit left of field!
a lot of overseas investors who do not qualify for franking credits may have held the price up against the wishes of the shorters trying to break the $10 mark.
ps- there also is huge negativity on Westpac bank today with 70% of it's loan book based on suspect lending criteria.
in other words, all banks are implicated and if there is an economic downturn or interest rates rise, then foreclosures will be rife! and already, 33% of mortgages are under stress- with less than one month in reserve payments.
on a lighter note- the weather was magnificent today and i took a stroll near the beach .
i was trying to gain insight into how i could make that elusive 100K.
