I’m not long or short on BOQ but keeping an eye on it.
The short interest is pretty intense. Yep they can get it wrong but usually they get it right. This is big time short interest given considerstion to market cap and real world free float shares.
A recent example of a stock I hold going ex divvy then losing a fair bit of value is MOC. I know royal commission and a new MD, but all said and done the shorters has it right as she dropped from 2.50 ish to 1.80 ish.
I’m thinking BOQ will be similar. An 8 in front of the price is more likely than an 11 over the next 2 months I believe. At some point however, I’d imagine it’s a decent buy.
