Asset values need reflect what those "valued assets" can obtain in a fire-sale this month, the alternative is a fairy-tale.
The real world will pay as little as possible.
Most likely to be interested in these assets perhaps already over-supplied in same.
Assets need values written down as fast as possible, if at time of fire-sale the assets return higher than expected, then just smile.
