Had a chance to review some of the cross sections from Mauritenia, boy those are some whacky looking geological contacts there, look at the talc chlorite alteration overprint and the distribution of high grade gold in the hematite ironstones, looks like a complex story and maybe more drilling to explain it.


A bit reminiscent of some of the complex Starra-type ore body drill sections from NW Queensland, they had some pretty stonking gold and copper grades in places as well. Look at the zonation with Cu intersections in completely different host rocks to the high grade gold.
