    BPT was higher in 1988 than it was now. It was also higher in 1993, 2006, 2008 and 2014. It's all relative, this is a volatile sector to be in and even BPT, a long established, dominant player in arguably Australia's best oil province, proves that.

    In other news, CPT is going well - RC recently commented that they could be paying the NT $18m a year in royalities....I believe that's quite ambitious but to put it that into perspective, that would imply $180m of well head revenue at 10% royalty rate (i.e. refer to m0ngy's recent post on "well head revenue" and "royalties"). This could imply revenue of over double the $180m a year with royalty rates averaging c. 4% on revenue. While it's nice to dream these sort of numbers, I know there are a lot of things to happen before then but I'm hanging on here...
