New MD gets $200k pa plus rights. Hope he's worth it and GRK have enough $ to pay him, or rather I hope WE have enough to pay him lol
BOARD APPOINTMENTS
Green Rock Energy Limited (ASX:GRK) (“Green Rock”) is pleased to confirm that in accordance with the
Company’s previous announcements, that it has appointed Mr Stephen Copulos and Mr Steven Tambanis to the Board
of Directors.
Green Rock Director Mr Gabriel Chiappini stated, “We are pleased to have attracted two quality and experienced
directors to Green Rock’s board. We now look forward to finalising the acquisition of our Tanzanian Exploration
Projects and focussing on becoming a Tanzanian Resources Company.”
Mr Stephen Copulos
Mr Copulos joins Green Rock as a Non-Executive Chairman and is the Company’s major shareholder and major financial
supporter. Mr Copulos has over thirty years’ experience in a variety of businesses and investments across a wide range of
industries, including mining, manufacturing, property development, fast food and hospitality. He has been the Managing
Director of the Copulos Group of companies, a private investment group, since 1997 and has extensive experience as a
company director of both listed and unlisted public companies in Australia, UK and the USA.
Mr Copulos is an active global investor who brings significant business acumen and great diversity to the Board of Green
Rock. In addition to his proposed role with the Company, Mr Copulos is also a director of ASX listed company, Crusader
Resources Ltd (Chairman).
Mr Steven Tambanis
Mr Tambanis joins Green Rock as its Managing Director, with his Executive position being effective from 1 January 2015.
Mr Tambanis is a geologist and manager with extensive commercial and operational experience gained working with ASX
listed mineral companies, including business development roles at WMC Resources and Goldminex Resources Limited
where he held the position of Executive Director.
He is on the Board of West African Gold Limited, a public unlisted mineral exploration company. Over the past three years
Mr Tambanis managed all aspects of that company’s exploration activities, operations and administration, including the
execution of a significant joint venture with ASX listed gold miner, Perseus Mining Limited (ASXRU)
