Well as an ex Grade Control Geologist - this is very very poor data.
Fair enough the samples from the old ore bin will give an indication of the grade that was being processed.
However the waste stockpile and the tailings should have been sampled better.
Grid it out and hand auger 100 1kg samples. then process and assay.
Yes one or two days sampling and prep - one or two weeks for the lab.
Ok my method would not allow re processing of the tailings - but at least it would give a reasonable indication of what is actually there. From that data you could decide if you wanted to sample correctly and prove up a resource to be processed.
At Olympic Dam we did better sampling on a 400 tonne waste rock drive than these point source grab samples.
Anyway I hold the shares - I think that SK has some legs - but for the non geologists - you can virtually ignore the data in the chart above.
Anyway BMV said at the end they will working on this over the next few weeks so hopefully they do some good work here as tailings and waste stockpiles may be a very good little earner if the tonnes and grade are there.
