"CountryMark Energy Resources, LLC was named Wildcatter of the Year during the 69th annual meeting of the Illinois Oil and Gas Association (IOGA). The company was honored during the Wildcatter’s luncheon Friday at the Old National Events Plaza in Evansville. CountryMark was honored for the development of a major oilfield south of Norris City, Ill. in southern White County. “CountryMark’s southwest Roland Unit is an oil producer’s dream come true,” said Brad Richards, Executive Vice President of IOGA. “One of the wells they hit had an initial production of 675 barrels per day.” CountryMark Energy Resources is a subsidiary of Indianapolis-based CountryMark Cooperative Holding Corporation.
