LOL. Reminds me of the reasonably accurate movie "Death of Stalin" I saw recently. After Stalin all new incoming Soviet leaders blamed past leaders for poor living standards and repression. Previous administrations and cronies were exiled to Kazakhstan or remote parts of Siberia and thrown out of the Party. History books rewritten to show they were part of the problem, and incoming regimes would tout themselves as cleanskins with reformist ideas. All BS.

I think they need to take a leaf out of AMP's book.
