Don: whether it was a statement/belief/unequivocal or not, BKT are promoting that they have "the best undeveloped graphite deposit in the world" in a 'market sensitive' announcement.
I'm for individuals and companies having the right to express their opinions - thats one of the fundamental tenets of a democracy - however ASX market sensitive announcements are not the place to be making grandiose unsubstantiated claims where investors and the media place importance and can be easily influenced by such statements.
Please find another announcement from any other mining company in the history of the ASX claiming that they have "the best" undeveloped gold/copper/zinc/rare earth/lithium/cobalt/etc. deposit - you won't because such a statement is laughable and unethical without reference to a specifically measurable metric such as grade/size/profitability/opex/etc.
You cite a reference to 'fairness' however maybe you should apply the same principle to the BKT CEO and ask him to be fair, and correct the wording of the sentence to be "the best concentrate grade of any undeveloped graphite project" which is aligned with the actual findings in the announcement.
