Are you sure that thermal purification cost per ton in china could be only 850$ ? if so why do they persist with environmentally harmful chemical purification ? Do you think these costs could be extrapolated to north american hydro sources of electricity (like Niagara Falls hydro electricity source in New york) or european geothermal cheap sources such as in Iceland ?

Also, what do you think of Syrah plans to use chemical purification of graphite in north america instead of going 100% thermal ? are they going to obtain permits to do that ?
