the info above is ancient history. searching on the internet, this quote appears to go back to at least 2014. the graphite space has changed very fast since 2014. therefore, this quote is not relevant to the plans of BKT

BKT are not targeting 94% to 96% purity because (unlike VRC) BKT have proven they can produce at a 99%+ purity level from simple flotation across all flake/fraction sizes
using BKT 99%+ purity concentrate will reduce sphericising costs by maybe 60% (per last presentation) and acid use by 5/6
