I agree with you, pa, but at some pointy, companies have to bite the bullet. ISN, which I hold, is doing a raising to get rid of its own SpringTree (Bergen), and it isn't easy raising money the "normal" way, when a company is used to getting money "for free" ie no strings attached, no expectations from the pay day lender, just Appendix 3b's all the live long day. when/if TX moves off the SpringTree teat, it could be worth a bob or two. As for now, as long as ST is in the picture, Director fees will be paid- easily, not the hard way- and the sell-off will continue.
I wrote a post sympathetic towards HTX re ST recently (I blamed ST, not HTX), but really, in 2011, and with companies like ST having been around so long, any company that continues to use them, should have Directors voted out, imo. Convertible bond junkies- not on.
