re: Ann: Best Gold Mineralisation to date at ... It remains to be seen exactly how they will do it but I can put forward one scenario - it is very very simple. We could all do it in our own backyards. The DSO magnetite will go through a dry mag separator, the gold being non-magnetic will go through to the non-mag tailing. There will be some silica and other waste species as well in the non-mag tail. Depending on if the gold is concentrated enough in the tail and exactly how the gold is present (free gold or gold in sulphides), TRF may choose to just smelt it to a gold bar as is or it may require a little gravity processing - a Gekko inline pressure jig may be a good move which may then be concentrated enough to smelt as is or they may want to follow this with an inline leach reactor, electrolysis of the gold solution onto steel wool and then smelt into gold bar. All in all a very inexpensive process to produce a very valuable product which is easy to sell. I haven't heard anything about arsenic in their ore (gold can sometimes be associated with arsenopyrite) - this is usually not a problem and wouldn't be worth worrying about. Go TRF!
