Yes. They may not look it, but those ciggie-smoking airleg miners BGL show in the old Bellevue photos were probably pretty switched on. I doubt they left high-grade pillars throughout the mine for no reason.
It looks like BGL have just modelled the whole lode as if there was no mining, and then depleted it by the void volumes. The gold is there, sure - but be wary of what is "extractable".
