Good question, I would assume and certainly hope that fees somehow get rebated. They could possibly reach an agreement outside of the LIC structure?
If the fees are getting rebated somehow then I don't see it as doing Morphic a big favour since FGG get a discounted LIC holding without the usual problems associated with that.
Morphic might have been worried the large seller would lead to an even greater discount, and ok with sacrificing some fees? Or were they worried the stake would get sold to an activist they don't trust?
I would have thought FGG could clarify as it is unusual for them if they are looking around at LICs.
