So moving on ....
Because whilst rumours seem to be ok ....any genuine information held by anyone is rightly enough embargoed  so that everyone starts from the same level.

...although some buyers DO seem to be taller - particularly fund managers who get to talk direct to company managers.

Personally I find Facebook is a great source of information.
Barbecues are also held to be useful events at which to discuss trading,  but at mine we discuss why the local park’s gas cylinder still hasn’t been  refilled.
My new accountant had heard of NRW because he has a friend who works in an Asian division of Worley Parsons who told him Worley was the contracts manager for Koodaideri and that NRW was doing early contract work (doh!)

The important question is does Vinva know something that we (or most of us) don’t?

On it’s website Vinva says there  are five funds .......(so I’m guessing two people for each fund plus the tea lady and the boss.
...Plus Siri’s mathematically-minded big sister ?)
But the Vinva website photo doesn’t show the five funds ..just ‘range of capabilities’.

It also shows that Nick Burt (one of the principals and a portfolio manager http://www.vinva.com/nick-burt/) has good arms .
He has them folded in his portrait in the classic ‘I’m a chef’ pose .
If he is in charge of picking the ‘“longs,” this position may also reveal that as well as enjoying the odd barbecue, he is likely to go for great defensive stocks.
(NRW Holdings is a great defensive stock and, with around 19 million shares, Vinva is well set to be defended by it. )
