Contrary to what I previously said about not replying to your posts ....
We have had weeks and post upon post of you espousing your opposition to the 249D being issued, about how it will decimate the company and ruin its reputation in the market, as well as it will never recover if it goes ahead.
Now you are actually agreeing with
@Scarpa and its the right thing to do?
Curiosity has certainly been piqued now as to what has changed your mind overnight?
As I have previously posted, the RM's had only the interests of all shareholders in mind when they reluctantly issued the 249D as a last resort per se, nothing really can be said about the current management that hasn't already been said. They bumbled their way through the past 10 years but now shareholders via the RM's action can actually decide what direction they want to take, status quo (IMO) GPP will not recover and fall further versus embracing a possible change.
Also remember that pending the announcement in regards to the "acquisition" and of course any sweeteners that will no doubt be attached, if it is tenable and in the best interest of all shareholders then they reserve the right to withdraw the 249D at any time prior to an EGM.
For what its worth,
IMO only, King will step down from management but may want to still be a part of the rebuild ......... the shareholders have lost faith in his ability, he knows it, he reads these threads
cheers
All IMO only
