Agreed John. Cash(flow) is king. As the cash starts to come into the coffers and investors return there will likely be another wave on consolidation. So far the mergers and takeovers have mainly been the strong companies picking off the weak or the international forced-sellers.
At some point I think it will switch to the strong companies starting to band together. Then the international money will start to come back.
And we haven't even seen the US$ gold price start to go up yet!
