I have been critical of this and recommend some areas like the company buying back some of the excess with a funds for that.However many disagree with this and recommend increased production instead as the SP will take care of itself. Well records after records have been broken, don't tell me the fundamentals this time last year was just as good. Penny shares in Australia have been condemned especially the resources sector.In time to come, they will have problems raising funds/ capital for their operations.AS soon as the SP rise a bit many holders will exit which will be another problem as reward is not forthcoming, there is an opportunity cost, defeat is self feeding.Wobblyboots, you can see the frustration of many of the long time holders here.In Singapore and HongKong, the government can see the spoilers and set up a fund just to support the market at times to show confidence and at the same time encourage investment.
