i'm sure things are still settling down for them since the loss of Frank. perhaps some thought that it would be business as usual (and i'm sure it was to a large degree) but these things are never easy, and given Franks role as the ultimate patriarch and cornerstone of Carrick i'm sure it must have been a difficult time for his family and the company. i think things are starting to get back on track now, and although the handing over of frank's estate is probably a formality it still serves to remind that wasn't that long ago that he was at the helm.
